Anantapuram: In a tragic incident, two women were killed after a speeding lorry rammed over them. The incident took place in Kaluvapalli, Anantapuram district. According to the reports, a speeding lorry hit two women who were on the Penna river bridge. The women died on the spot and created panic among the residents. Heavy traffic took place in the area after the accident. After getting the information, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies to the nearby hospital for post-mortem. Police registered a case and an investigation is going underway.
