YSRCP MLA Jyothula Chantibabu’s comments hints at party charge
Kakinada, August 3: YSRCP MLA from Jaggampeta Jyothula Chantibabu’s comments created sensation in Andhra Pradesh politics. Speaking at a pension distribution programme, the MLA said that no one is permanent in any political party. “A leader associated with a particular political party will shift loyalty to another one when the opportunity comes to contest in elections,” he said.
His remarks gave rise to speculation that he might join another political party before Assembly elections. Some say that Chantibabu made these comments out of frustration for not getting enough support from the YSRCP government to resolve pending issues in his constituency.
