The MPs who have been suspended are still protesting outside of Parliament. The agitation by the 27 suspended MPs, 23 from the Rajya Sabha and 4 from the Lok Sabha, continued this morning and is anticipated to last until today at 5 o'clock. Congress, DMK, TMC, CPM, and AAP MPs from both Houses are participating in a 50-hour continuous dharna in the areas around Parliament. They are protesting their dismissal for calling for an urgent discussion on the price increase and the GST on food goods. To convey their anger with BJP MPs and the Council of Ministers who were present during the altercation with Sonia Gandhi, Congress MPs are going to meet with the Lok Sabha Speaker. Congressman Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury requested a meeting with President Droupadi Murmu to apologise for calling the president 'Rashtrapatni'.
