Hyderabad: Panic gripped among the people of Telangana after a suspected monkeypox case was reported in Kamareddy. The person was admitted to Fever Hospital, Hyderabad on Sunday. Speaking to the media, Fever Hospital Superintendent Shankar stated that the officials are tracing the contacts of the suspected person and his family members are under home isolation. Reacting to a reporter's question, he said that the case reported in Delhi without any travel history happened because the person may come in contact with the international traveller. He suspected that monkeypox may be spread in the community but it is not dangerous as Covid-19.
