On board an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Hyderabad, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan performed her medical duties and saved the life of an IPS officer with the rank of Additional Director General of Police. Officer from the 1994-batch Kripanand Tripathi Ujela, who is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad, said, ''Madam Governor saved my life.' She assisted me as a mother would. I wouldn't have been able to get to the hospital otherwise'' 'When Madam Governor took my pulse at that moment, it was only 39. She gave me some forward bending advice and relaxed me, which helped control my breathing,' Ujela stated. The IPS officer complained of discomfort on the journey to the capital of Telangana around Friday midnight, and the governor, a doctor by profession, attended to him.
