Hyderabad: After a small gap, heavy rains lashed out Hyderabad on Friday morning and the low-lying areas were inundated with rainwaters. According to the Meteorological Department officials, several areas in Hyderabad includes Banjara Hills, Manikonda, Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar, Lingampalli, Gachibowli, Ramathapur, Amberpet, Nampally, Secunderabad, Uppal, Tolichowki, Begumpet and other areas received heavy rainfall. The officials forecasted heavy rains for Medak, Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Kamareddy and Mahabubnagar in the next 24 hours. It is known that continuous heavy rains caused flash floods in the state and many districts were submerged in the floodwater.
