According to NITI Aayog, the three states that have introduced the most new inventions are Karnataka, Telangana, and Haryana. Karnataka is ranked first in the NITI Aayog Innovation Index-2021, which was created by the NITI Aayog to measure inventions. The ninth-placed state on this list is Andhra Pradesh. According to Niti Aayog, the list has been split into three groups: one with 17 states, one with ten northeastern states, and one with nine Union Territories. Karnataka has topped the list among the big states for the third year in a row. Manipur is ranked 1 among the north-eastern and hilly states, followed by Meghalaya, Uttarakhand, and the list of Union Territories is headed by Chandigarh, with Delhi coming in second. The Innovation Index, which was made public by Niti Aayog, is intended to take into account the favourable conditions for innovation over the time period.
