Hyderabad: Due to continuous rain, the Safari Park in Hyderabad's Nehru Zoological Park was inundated with flood water and it is closed to visitors. According to the zoo park officials, due to the heavy rains over the last six days, the water from Mir Alam Tank overflowing and is entering the Safari Park in the Zoo park. Zoo officials said that all animals in the Safari parks are safe and shifted to their nighttime enclosures. They added that a veteran doctor is monitoring the health condition of the animals. The safari park is closed to the public due to the floods but the zoo will remain open to visitors from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
