Holidays have been declared from July 11 to July 13 for all educational institutions due to the State-wide severe rains. The Telangana administration, led by Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao (KCR), made a key decision in response to the weather department's alert. K Chandrashekhar Rao, the chief minister, made a decision to this effect and gave the officials the go-ahead to implement the necessary steps. On Sunday afternoon, he presided over a high-level meeting at Pragathi Bhavan with the Ministers and top officials to evaluate the rain-affected areas, current situation, and actions being taken by the State government to avert any loss of lives or property as a result of the rains.
