Hyderabad: Historical Golconda comes alive during the month of Ashada as the Bonalu festival celebrates in a traditional way in every month. Devotees of Mahankali will make a beeline to Golconda to offer the first Bonam to the Goddess Jagadamba on the premises of the fort on June 30. It is known that the Bonalu festival is celebrated grandly for the entire month. The procession will start from the Langer House in the afternoon and will reach the Sri Jagadamba Mahankali temple situated atop the Golconda Fort. Bonalu festival is celebrated for nine days at Golconda temple.
