Adilabad: Tension escalated in the Basar IIT campus after around 8,000 students staged protests Tuesday demanding to appoint the vice-chancellor for the university and to solve their problems in the campus. According to the reports, the students staged protests outside the administrative building and asserted that they will continue the protests until the Chief Minister KCR visits the IIIT campus. Students said that they are facing a lot of problems in campus and demanded to fill the vacant posts in the university. They further stated that they didn't receive the laptop even after the academic year started.
