7 burnt alive, 16 injured as Hyd-bound private bus catches fire after colliding with jeep in K’taka

Hyderabad, June 3: In a major road accident, seven passengers burnt alive and another 16 suffered serious injuries when a private bus heading to Hyderabad from Goa caught fire after colliding with a jeep coming in the opposition direction near Kamalapura town in Kalaburagi district, Karnataka on Friday morning.
According to reports, 29 including driver were in bus when the mishap took place. Driver of the jeep, who sustained severe injuries, shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. All the deceased reportedly belong to Hyderabad and bus owned by Orange Travels. The police registered a case.
