Katherine Brunt and Natalie Sciver, both England women's cricketers, married in a private ceremony. The couple has been together for approximately five years and got engaged in October of this year. They planned to marry in 2020. However, the COVID-19 pandemic compelled them to postpone the event. Ex-England star and cricket commentator Guha congratulated Sciver and Brunt in a heartfelt post from the event. Both Brunt and Sciver were members of the England side that advanced to the final of the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. Sciver and Brunt join South Africa's Marizanne Kapp and Dane van Niekerk, as well as New Zealand's Amy Satterthwaite and Lea Tahuhu, on the list of cricketing couples worldwide.
