Amaravati, May 31: TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh is gearing up for padayatra to bring TDP back to power. According to sources, he will launch his padayatra on October 2, the day of Gandhi Jayanti. Ten years ago, Lokesh’s father and TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu had launched padayatra on the same day and brought TDP to power. The aim of padayatra was to highlight failures of ruling YSRCP government and boost morale of the TDP cadre. Simultaneously, Chandrababu will visit districts. In each district, the TDP chief will tour extensively for three days.
