Gujarat Titans won the IPL 2022 title with a win over Rajasthan Royals in front of a loud home crowd at Ahemadabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday. The Gujarat Titans, led by Hardik Pandya, won their first title after defeating the Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets with 11 balls to spare. It won the competition's first season and became champions. In 20 overs, Rajasthan Royals scored 130 runs for the loss of nine wickets (Jos Buttler 39, Yashasvi Jaiswal 22). Hardik Pandya collected three wickets for 17 runs, while R Sai Kishore claimed two wickets for 20 runs. Gujarat Titans accomplished the objective by scoring 133 runs in 18.1 overs for the loss of three wickets. Hardik Pandya made 34 runs, Shubman Gill made 45 runs.
