The Gujarat Titans, led by Hardik Pandya, won their first title after defeating the Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets with 11 balls to spare. It won the competition's first season and became champions. In 20 overs, Rajasthan Royals scored 130 runs for the loss of nine wickets (Jos Buttler 39, Yashasvi Jaiswal 22). Hardik Pandya collected three wickets for 17 runs, while R Sai Kishore claimed two wickets for 20 runs.
