'Promote mother tongue..': Venkaiah Naidu amid language row calls for 'no opposition, no imposition'
In the midst of the country's continuing language debate, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu said on Saturday that no language should be imposed or opposed, speaking at an event in Chennai to honouring Tamil Nadu's late former chief minister M Karunanidhi.

He remarked this while on stage with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, who demanded official status for Tamil like Hindi when on stage with Prime Minister Modi last Thursday.
