Hyderabad: In wake of cyclone Asani, the South Central Railway (SCR) has cancelled 48 trains and diverted a few trains. According to the reports, Demu trains running between Machilipatnam-Gudivada, Vijayawada-Narsapur, Kakinada Port-Vijayawada, Narasapur-Guntur Express, Bhimavaram Junction-Vijayawada, Nidadavole-Narsapur, Bhimavaram Junction-Machilipatnam are cancelled. Trains running between Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam were cancelled and a few other trains were scheduled and diverted. Meteorological officials said that Krishna, Guntur, Konaseema, East Godavari, West Godavari, Eluru and Visakhapatnam districts will receive heavy rainfall due to cyclone Asani. Cyclone Asani showing its effect on Andhra Pradesh and many areas are receiving heavy rainfall.
