Vijayawada: Tension escalated after the Cyclone 'Asani' is intensifying and is likely to reach the Andhra Pradesh-Odisha coast by Tuesday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that the cyclone Asani formed in the Bay of Bengal. It is said that the Cyclone Asani is strengthening into a very severe cyclonic storm and the effect will be more on coastal areas of both Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. It is said that the wind speed will be more than 100 km/hr. The state government alerted the officials and ordered the fishermen not to enter the sea. It is said that the impact of the cyclone will be more on Odisha.
