AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi met with 18 arrested National Student Union of India (NSUI) leaders in Chanchalguda jail on Saturday, on the second day of his Telangana visit. He was accompanied by Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, the leader of the Congress Legislative Party (CLP). Telangana PCC President A Revath Reddy, Congress MPs Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy, on the other hand, were denied permission to meet with NSUI leaders at Chanchalguda jail. They have all alleged that CM KCR had thwarted their visit to the jail to meet with NSUI leaders.
