Following former Congress president and MP Rahul Gandhi's visit to Warangal district on Friday, Telangana Congress leaders are upbeat about Rahul Gandhi's visit to the state after nearly three years and are counting on him to infuse vigour into the party in the run-up to assembly polls scheduled for 2023.

Rahul is expected to announce the 'Warangal Declaration,' a proposal on several farmer issues, during a public assembly and sound the poll bugle, according to party insiders.

A Revanth Reddy, president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), stated that the Warangal public meeting 'Rythu Sangharshana Sabha' will serve as a rallying point for the Congress in Telangana.

'Farmers are the hardest hit in the state, and Rahul Gandhi will champion their case,' Revanth stated.
