Nellore: A local YSRCP leader Challa Mahesh and his wife allegedly attacked and tried to kill an elder woman over disputed land. According to the sources, the victim identified as Subba Ratnamma, a resident of Kummarakonduru opposed Challa Mahesh and his wife when they tried to encroach the land at the midnight and the issue flared up after she confronted them by citing the issue is in the Court. Expressing anger after her, YSRCP leader Challa Mahesh and his wife allegedly attacked her and tried to kill her by strangling her with his foot. Speaking to the media, she said that they both tried to kill her and stated that the issue is in the court. She approached the police and requested to take action against them.
