TRS working president and Minister for Information Technology, Industries, and Municipal Administration K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) stated that TRS workers had no reason to impede the padayatra started by State BJP President Bandi Sanjay. He was questioned about what he had done to the Palamuru district and the state. KTR advised Bandi Sanjay to visit neighbouring BJP-ruled Karnataka and assess the government's performance. "I will provide four to five air-conditioned vans for Telangana BJP officials to tour the areas of Karnataka that border Telangana state," KTR stated. He enumerated various TRS government welfare projects that are not being executed by the BJP administration in Karnataka. KTR has chastised the Centre for failing to support Hindu temples in Telangana. The TRS working president has also mentioned how some of BJP cadres in Karnataka, has requested that Raichur district should be incorporated with Telangana state.
