Amaravati: A big shock to the people of Andhra Pradesh ahead of scorching summer as the state government increased the power tariff. The AP Electricity Regulatory Commission Chairman Justice CV Nagarjuna Reddy released the details regarding the new power tariff in the state. According to the reports, the residential or domestic consumers need to pay as per the new tariff. Consumers need to pay an extra 45 paise per unit up to 30 units, 91 paise increased on 31-75 units, Rs 1.40 paise between 76-125 units, Rs 1.57 on 126-225 units, Rs 1.16 on units between 226-400 and 55 paise increased per unit if units are above 400.
