Hyderabad: Telangana Ministers and members of Parliament are likely to meet Union Minister for Food and Public Distribution requesting to procure entire paddy produced in the state. According to the reports, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced after the TRSLP meeting that the delegation of Telangana Ministers will meet the Union Minister to request to procure the entire Yasangi paddy in Telangana like it is done in Haryana and Punjab. He said that it is the responsibility of the Centre to procure foodgrains in the nation. It is said that Telangana ministers will explain the Union Ministers over farmers problems.
