The Aam Aadmi Party, which made history in the Punjab Assembly elections, now turned its attention to Telangana. The party has resolved to bolster its presence in the state. It wants to reach out to the people through the Padayatra with the motto of giving free education and healthcare, therefore dispelling the anti-democratic policies of the Central and State Governments. Arvind Kejriwal, AAP National Convener and Delhi CM, is expected to kick off the padayatra on April 14 to commemorate Ambedkar Jayanti. State authorities will convene in the final week of this month to plan a route and name Padayatra. This might be a sour deal for the governing Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), whose Chief and state CM is attempting to form a non-Congress Third Front against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)
