Araku is a Wonderful Region… It Should Be Properly Utilized: Pawan Kalyan

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has committed to the development of Araku. On Sunday, he inaugurated the “Adivithalli Baata” programme in Dumbriguda, Alluri Sitarama Raju district. Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan said, “If we trust the forest goddess, she provides us with food and shelter.”

He described Araku as a wonderful region and expressed a desire to utilize it effectively and develop it further as a tourist destination. He stated that due to the lack of proper road infrastructure in the forested regions, people are facing difficulties, and he emphasized the need to improve the living standards of tribal communities.

Pawan Kalyan expressed gratitude to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for promptly approving ₹49 crore for road construction in tribal areas after the request was made. He stated, “The previous government spent only ₹92 crore on roads over five years, while the coalition government sanctioned works worth ₹1,500 crore within a year.” He assured that the works would commence soon.

As part of his tour, Pawan Kalyan met with tribal residents in Pedapadu village and learned about their issues. He assured them that local problems would be resolved within six months.
