Andhra Pradesh Government to Present Full Budget Today
The coalition government of Andhra Pradesh is set to present its first full-fledged budget today. The budget will be introduced in the Assembly at 10:00 AM by Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, while Minister Kollu Ravindra will present it in the Legislative Council.
Reports indicate that the budget will prioritize the "Super 6" schemes and the construction of the state capital in Amaravati. The total estimated budget for the financial year 2025-26 is expected to be around ₹3.20 lakh crore. The primary objective of the budget is reportedly to improve the state's financial condition.
Ahead of the budget presentation, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will chair a state cabinet meeting at 9:00 AM to approve the budget. Following the cabinet's approval, Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav will present the budget in the Assembly at 10:00 AM.
