YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy Challenges Alliance Government
Kadapa: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Member of Parliament YS Avinash Reddy has challenged the ruling alliance government, questioning whether it is prepared for elections in Kuppam, Pithapuram, and Mangalagiri constituencies under a "Super Six" referendum. His remarks come in response to alliance leaders' claims that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy might face disqualification, leading to a by-election in Pulivendula.

Speaking in Kadapa, Avinash Reddy alleged that the government has failed in implementing the "Super Six" schemes, leading to growing public discontent. He criticized the ruling alliance for denying YSRCP the status of the main opposition in the assembly. "The ruling alliance is afraid of the questions we raise in the assembly. That is why they are not granting us the status of the main opposition," he said.

Avinash Reddy asserted that there is only one real opposition party in the state, dismissing the significance of the 11-seat criterion. He pointed out that out of the four parties present in the assembly, three are part of the government, leaving YSRCP as the sole opposition. He accused the alliance government of deceiving the public by withholding opposition status from YSRCP.
