Srikakulam Fishermen Participate in Thandel Pre-Release Event – Watch the Video!
Naga Chaitanya praised the fishermen, saying he did not see fear in their eyes and considered them the real heroes. He added that Thandel would not have been possible without them. He also lauded music director Devi Sri Prasad, calling him the "real rockstar" of the film. He highlighted the impact of the song Bujjithalli, saying it transformed the essence of the movie and played a crucial role in reaching the audience.
The actor further mentioned that after watching Virupaksha, he had suggested to director Chandoo Mondeti that they work with cinematographer Shamdat and art director Nagendra. He expressed happiness that this collaboration materialized for Thandel. Speaking about his role, Naga Chaitanya admitted that adopting the Srikakulam dialect was a challenge and credited the director’s team for their immense support.
Actress Sai Pallavi also spoke at the event, stating that producer Allu Aravind treats her like a daughter. She emphasized that both Allu Aravind and Bunny Vasu have immense faith in the film. Sai Pallavi also noted that Naga Chaitanya has evolved significantly as an actor before and after Thandel, and Telugu audiences have great admiration for him.
