CM Chandrababu Offers Silk Robes to Goddess Kanyaka Parameswari
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Penugonda in West Godavari district on the occasion of Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari’s self-sacrifice day. As part of the official government observance, he presented silk robes to the deity at the local temple and performed special prayers.

Earlier, at the helipad set up at the local market yard, Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu, MLAs, and other key leaders accorded a grand welcome to the Chief Minister. Upon reaching the Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari temple, temple priests, officials, and staff received him with a ceremonial "Poornakumbham" welcome.

Following this, Chandrababu Naidu presented the silk robes to the goddess and conducted special prayers. Penugonda, revered as a sacred site for the Arya Vaishya community, hosts official government observances of Kanyaka Parameswari’s self-sacrifice day.
