Saif Ali Khan Attack Case: More Individuals Involved?

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's assault case, which has created a nationwide stir, is witnessing new developments each day. Allegations of more individuals being involved in the attack are now emerging. In connection with this case, Mumbai police arrested a key suspect, Shariful Islam alias Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir alias Vijaydas (30), from Thane on January 19.

The incident occurred on January 16, when the accused allegedly broke into Saif Ali Khan's residence, attempted theft, and attacked the actor with a knife, inflicting six injuries. To strengthen the case, police have collected evidence including clothing and blood samples from Saif and his household staff. Bloodstains found on the accused's clothing are being analyzed to confirm if they match Saif Ali Khan's. Additionally, fingerprints gathered at the crime scene reportedly match those of the accused.

The origins of the weapon used in the attack remain unclear. The accused has been uncooperative during interrogation, prompting the court to extend his custody until January 29.
