Prominent figures from the technology and business sectors were also present, including Elon Musk, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Representing India’s business elite, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, and his wife, Nita Ambani, added a touch of Indian presence to the proceedings.

This marks Donald Trump’s second term as President. Beginning his oath with the words, “I, Donald Trump...,” he concluded the ceremony, after which the U.S. military honored the occasion with a single round of artillery fire outside Capitol Hill.
