Police Detain MP Avinash Reddy’s PA Raghava Reddy

Police have detained YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MP Avinash Reddy’s personal assistant, Raghava Reddy, in connection with offensive posts on social media targeting leaders of the opposition, including Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, Nara Lokesh, and Anitha. The incident sparked tension as YSRCP supporters gathered in large numbers outside the Pulivendula Police Station, anticipating a possible arrest.

Raghava Reddy faces allegations of orchestrating indecent posts on social media through YSRCP social media worker Varra Ravindra Reddy. Additionally, he is listed as the 20th accused in an SC/ST atrocities case.

Today, police arrived at Raghava Reddy’s residence in Pulivendula and took him into custody. This development follows the recent rejection of his anticipatory bail petition by the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Raghava Reddy has been transported to Pulivendula Police Station for further investigation.
