Amala Paul: Sensational comments on Tollywood; shares her journey with media
Hyderabad: Amala Paul impressed the audience with films like 'Love Failure', 'Janda Pai Kapiraju' and 'Iddarammaiitho'. She has been continuing her journey as a heroine for a decade. She has done very few films in Telugu in her career. She appeared in only four films between 2011 and 2015. Amala Paul recently gave an interview to the media and made sensational comments on Tollywood.
Amala Paul shared with the media the reasons why she did very few Telugu movies. "When I entered the Telugu industry, I realised that the industry is in the hands of a few families. Only those families dominate the industry. At that time the films they were making were very different. Each film had two heroines. Heroines were shown glamorous.”
“They were seen only in some love scenes and songs. They used to make very commercial movies. Therefore, I could not approach the Telugu industry. I have done very few films," said Amala Paul. She last acted in the Telugu web series 'Pitta Kathalu', which was produced by Netflix.
Amala Paul says she was lucky to start her film career with a Tamil film. "I came to Kollywood when filmmakers were looking for newcomers. I faced many difficulties like auditions and meetings for a year. I did two films at the beginning of my career. They have not been released yet.”
My third film 'Mynaa' was released and became a sensational success. I became an overnight sensation with this movie. After 'Mynaa', I received a series of offers. She said that everyone was impressed with my performance, so I worked with big stars, too. Recently, Amala Paul acted in 'Cadaver'. The film was released directly on the OTT platform Disney Hot Star.
