2 dead after tree falls on vehicle in Nirmal district

Nirmal, September 12: Two persons died on the spot when a big tree fell on their vehicle and another person was severely injured. The incident took place in Nirmal district on Sunday. 
 
According to sources, about 13 persons including driver of Itikyala village of Raikal mandal, Jagtial district were on their way to Kuntala waterfalls on Sunday. When they reached Igbalpur village, Khanapur mandal, a big tree fell on their vehicle. Buchanna and Ravi died on the spot while Nikhil was severely injured. He was shifted to Khanapur government hospital and from there to Nizamabad hospital for better treatment. Doctors said his condition is critical.
 
Police filed a case and investigation is on.
 
Heavy rains have been lashing out Nirmal district since Sunday night.
