Lakshmi Parvathi wants Jr. NTR to take over TDP from Chandrababu
Tirupati, August 24: Responding to Union Home Minister Amit Shah meeting Jr. NTR in Hyderabad, Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi, Chairperson of Andhra Pradesh Telugu and Sanskrit Akademi, said on Wednesday that her wish is Jr. NTR should join politics and take over TDP from N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Talking to reporters here, she alleged that Chandrababu deceived TDP founder and former chief minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) and snatched away the TDP from him.
Lakshmi Parvathi stated that birth anniversary celebrations of Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy, father of spoken Telugu language movement, will be organised on a grand scale at Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) here on August 25.
Why TDP leaders are criticising the YSRCP government over rationalisation of schools when 30,000 government schools were closed by Chandrababu in previous TDP rule, she asked and mentioned that TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy had allocated land to the Telugu and Sanskrit Akademi near Goshala here.
