Secunderabad: Centre to deploy 4 companies of CRPF at railway station

Secunderabad, June 17: The South Central Railway (SCR) authorities on Friday cancelled 71 passenger trains as Army job aspirants are continuing protest by sitting on tracks at railway station here. Even, the SCR also cancelled MMTS trains.
 
The police officials proposed to agitators that they can chose 10 members to represent them on their behalf for meeting and seeking clarification with the Army Recruitment Officer (ARO) regarding recruitment process which started long ago. But the protesters made it clear that the ARO should meet them at railway station. As the stalemate is continuing, the SCR cancelled trains originating from various railway stations in Hyderabad.
 
Several trains coming to Secunderabad railway station were stopped at various stations. Passengers travelling in long distance trains are facing difficulties. At least time table of 200 trains were rescheduled across the country in the wake of protests. Meanwhile, the Central government decided to send four companies of CRPF to railway station in Secunderabad to evacuate agitators.
