Hyd: Alcoholics protest against traffic cops for drunk and drive check near liquor shops
Hyderabad, June 13: Alcoholics staged a stir against traffic police for conducting drunk and drive near Gudimalkapur vegetable market under the Asif Nagar police station limits on Sunday night.
According to reports, alcoholics in large number visit two bars to consume liquor and purchase liquor in two shops located near vegetable market in Gudimalkapur. The traffic police took up drunk and drive at the same spot.
Alcoholics raised slogans against traffic cops and organised a dharna on the road. As a result, traffic came to a halt. The police reached the spot and dispersed alcoholics and took two of them into custody.
