IPL 2022: PM Modi, Amit Shah likely to watch match live at Ahmedabad stadium

Hyderabad: The field is ready for the final battle of IPL-2022. The Gujarat Titans will take on the Rajasthan Royals in Ahmedabad on Sunday in the grand final. It is learnt that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will be at the stadium to watch the final live. Authorities are making huge security arrangements in the wake of this.

Nearly 6,000 police personnel have been deployed for patrolling. Ahmedabad City Commissioner Sanjay Srivastava said, "17 DCPs, four DIGs, 28 ACPs, 51 police inspectors, 268 sub-inspectors, more than 5,000 constables, 1,000 home guards and three companies of SRP have been deployed near the stadium."

It is expected that 1,25,000 spectators will come to watch the match. However, this match will set a new record in the world of cricket as a large number of spectators are gathering at the stadium to watch the match.
