Hyd: Fire accident at Grand Spicy Bawarchi hotel, 14 rescued
Hyderabad, May 28: A major fire accident took place at Grand Spicy Bawarhi hotel at Rayadurgam here on Saturday morning. The thick smoke and huge flames erupted in first and second floors reached the third floor of the building.
Office of the Action Guarding Services Private Limited is located on the third floor. At the time of fire accident, 14 employees are working in the company. They climbed stairs and reached terrace.
On receiving information, four fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused flames. All the employees rescued by using a sky lift and rushed them to nearby hospitals for treatment.
ACP Raghunandan said that no one was injured in the mishap. To a question, he stated that exact cause for the fire accident can be known only after inspecting the building. But the hotel staff are saying electric short circuit might be the reason for fire accident. The police registered a case and took up investigation.
