Pawan Kalyan compares AP’s debt with Sri Lanka in YSRCP rule

Amaravati, May 17: Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday compared debt of Andhra Pradesh with Sri Lanka in the YSRCP rule. He blamed the YSRCP government for increasing AP’s debt burden furthermore. In a tweet, he asked Jagan government to focus on the debt instead of criticising Opposition on poll tie-up and taking up Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam. 
 
While comparing distance between Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu, the Jana Sena chief said AP is very close to the economic crisis situation of Sri Lanka. He attached a news video clip of Gravitas to his tweet. The news report quoted the Reserve Bank of India’s figures regarding debts of states. AP’s debt to GDP ratio is 38% while Punjab has highest with 52% followed by West Bengal (39%) and Bihar (38.66%).
 
On Monday, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy slammed Pawan Kalyan for not asking the previous TDP government regarding its failure to fulfil welfare schemes to farmers.
