In a shocking incident, a man douses MPDO in petrol and sets him ablaze

Jagtial (Telangana): In a shocking incident, a man doused the body of an MPDO in petrol and set him ablaze in Jagtial district of Telangana on Tuesday. According to police, an SI, tahsidar and MPDO went to Tungur village in Jagityal district in Telangana to remove logs that were put on the road.

Going into the details of the incident, one Gangadhar from Tungur village put logs on the road in the wake of a land dispute. On receiving the information, the tahsildar, SI and MPDO went to remove the logs as traffic was being disrupted.

On seeing the officials and SI, Gangadhar rushed to the spot with a can and tried to sprinkle petrol on the SI and tahsildar. Panicked by the unexpected turn of events, the SI and tahsildar ran away from Gangadhar. However, MPDO Ramakrishna could not escape from the clutches of Gangadhar and the latter poured petrol on Ramakrishna and immediately set him on fire. Ramakrishna was seriously injured in the incident. Immediately, he was shifted to a hospital where he was undergoing treatment.
