Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan's 'tenant farmers assurance drive' from May 8

Hyderabad:  Jana Sena President and film star Pawan Kalyan has been touring across Andhra Pradesh and providing financial assistance to the bereaved families of farmers, who died by suicide. Jana Sena has so far provided assistance to the families of farmers, who have died by suicide in the Anantapur and West Godavari districts. To this end, ‘Koulu Rythu Bharosa Yatra’ (tenant farmers assurance drive) will be launched in the Kurnool district on May 8.

Pawan Kalyan will reach Kurnool district at 9.30 am on May 8, Jana Sena Political Affairs Committee chairman Nadendla Manohar said in a statement on Monday. Nadendla Manohar said Pawan would also take part in the Rachchabanda programme at the Shirivella mandal quarters.

In the first phase, Pawan Kalyan will provide financial assistance to 130 tenant farmer families in the joint Kurnool district. The rest will be distributed in the second installment. The actor-turned politician has divided his time between films and politics and targeting the government for its lopsided policies.
