Telangana govt released bifurcation amount Rs 95 crore to AP Telugu Akademi: Lakshmi Parvathi

Tirupati, April 29: Andhra Pradesh Telugu and Sanskrit Akademi Chairperson Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi on Friday visited Tirumala and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara. The temple priests rendered Vedasirvachanam (Vedic blessings) on her at Ranganayakula Mandapam and gave prasadams.
 
Speaking to the media, she expressed happiness over Telangana government releasing bifurcation pending amount Rs 95 crore to AP Telugu and Sanskrit Akademi on Thursday night. She gave credit to Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and advocates representing the AP in the Supreme Court, arguing for release of bifurcation funds belonging to various departments from Telangana state.
 
“I am expecting that the remaining departments of AP will receive bifurcation dues from Telangana just like AP Telugu and Sanskrit Akademi received,” she stated. Lakshmi Parvathi further said that she has visited the central office of the AP Telugu and Sanskrit Akademi in Tirupati. Even the employees of the Akademi are working from temple city, she added.
