Atchannaidu lambasts AP govt, terms budget as fradulent
Amaravati: TDP leader Atchannaidu termed the budget introduced by the YSRCP government in the Assembly on Friday as fraudulent. Although the High Court has issued clear directions to develop Amravati as the capital, no adequate budget was allocated for it. He flayed the government for not mentioning Amravati in the budget.
TDP leader Atchannaidu said that the names of the old schemes are being changed and implemented. Continuing his tirade, he said the State government was surviving on the funds provided by the Central government.
He flayed the government for not caring about welfare except turning around for funds. He pointed out Central funds were being diverted and efforts were being made to increase revenue by imposing taxes on the people. He questioned the government where the funds for the Rs 2,56,257 crore budget would come from.
