Nandamuri Balakrishna welcomes formation of new districts in AP

Tollywood actor and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna welcomed the formation of 26 districts in Andhra Pradesh for administrative convenience. He released a video message on Thursday in that regard. As promised, the government should form the district headquarters in each parliamentary constituency.

He said Hindupur in Anantapur district was on the path of development in all sectors and was leading the way in commerce and industry. In this context, he appealed to the government to declare Sri Sathyasai district with Hindupur as its headquarters.

Balakrishna said there were plenty of government lands needed for future needs to set up district offices in the vicinity of Hindupur town. He clarified that the formation of the district should not be politicised. Respecting the sentiments and long-cherished dream of the people of Hindupur, he reiterated that Hindupur should be declared as headquarters.
