Sivaji Defends Film Industry Over Ticket Price Criticism
Actor Sivaji has weighed in on the case involving Ravi, the alleged administrator of the piracy website 'iBomma,' stating that anyone who acts against the country's laws will face consequences. "The law will take its course," he affirmed during a recent interview.

Sivaji also addressed the public perception of the film industry, particularly the criticism surrounding movie ticket price hikes. He expressed frustration over what he sees as double standards from the public. "Bus ticket prices triple during festival seasons, and no one questions it. But if a movie ticket price increases by ₹100, the industry is portrayed as the villain," he said.

Challenging the notion that everyone in the film industry leads a luxurious life, Sivaji claimed this is a misconception. "The reality is that 95% of people in the industry live simple lives. It is unfair to judge the entire industry based on the 5% who live lavishly," he explained.

He also offered a piece of advice to audiences, suggesting that the popcorn sold in theatres is unhealthy and it would be better to avoid it. Sivaji concluded on a positive note, expressing confidence that audiences will continue to support small films as long as they offer good content.
