Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam on June 21 to participate in a special event on the occasion of International Yoga Day, which will take place on the city’s beach road. In preparation for this high-profile visit, Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha conducted a high-level review of the arrangements.

Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha, accompanied by District Collector Prasad, City Police Commissioner Shankha Brata Bagchi, Joint Collector Mayur Ashok, and other senior officials, conducted a field inspection along the beach road in Visakhapatnam. She closely examined the security and logistical arrangements related to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.

Given the expectation of a large turnout of both the general public and dignitaries for the Yoga Day celebrations, Vangalapudi Anitha issued several important directives to the attending officials regarding the necessary security measures and event preparations.

Speaking on the occasion, Vangalapudi Anitha stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit is of the highest prestige and emphasized that all officials must perform their duties with complete coordination and efficiency, leaving no room for errors. She instructed the authorities to maintain utmost vigilance in security arrangements and to ensure that the public experiences no inconvenience. She called on officials from all departments to work collectively to ensure the success of the Prime Minister’s visit.
