Borugadda Anil Remanded Till June 3 After Skipping Court for 8 Years
Borugadda Anil, a YSR Congress Party leader and listed rowdy-sheeter, continues to face a series of legal troubles as multiple cases have been filed against him. In the latest development, the Guntur Sixth Additional Court Magistrate has ordered a 14-day remand for Borugadda Anil.

The remand pertains to a case dating back to May 9, 2016, when Borugadda Anil allegedly threatened Peddakakani Mandal Surveyor Mallikarjuna Rao, demanding the issuance of a land-related certificate. Based on the complaint lodged by the surveyor at the time, police had registered a case against Anil. However, over the past eight years, Anil reportedly failed to appear before the court for any of the scheduled hearings in this matter.

As a result, a non-bailable warrant was issued against him. On Tuesday, Anil, who is currently lodged in the Anantapur jail in connection with another case, was brought to Guntur court on a prisoner transit (PT) warrant. After hearing the arguments, the court remanded him in judicial custody until June 3.

Following the court's directive, the police transferred Borugadda Anil to the Rajahmundry Central Jail.
