Security Enhanced for Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu
The Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu, has been accorded enhanced security. Previously under Y-category protection, the minister’s security cover has now been upgraded to Y-Plus category. As per the revised arrangements, the state government will provide two gunmen, while the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will deploy two additional personnel, bringing the total number of security staff to four.

Following this decision, the Chief Security Officer appointed by the central government and a CRPF commando formally assumed duty on Thursday to oversee the minister's protection.

Meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh, senior officials conducted a high-level review of security arrangements following Operation Sindoor. This review focused on the safety of the public, institutions, and VIPs. Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta, Intelligence Chief Mahesh Chandra Laddha, and other senior officials participated in the discussions.

As part of the outcome, DGP Harish Kumar Gupta issued directives for strengthening the security of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. The Director General instructed the Intelligence and Security Wing officials to implement more robust protective measures for the Chief Minister. Officers were directed to ensure full adherence to security protocols without any compromises.

Further, DGP Harish Kumar Gupta advised district Superintendents of Police to give special attention to crowd management and to enforce specific guidelines when Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is moving among the public.
